Dot Com Infoway enters South African marketplace, adds more customers from SA

Dot Com Infoway has recently widened its customer base in South Africa, fostering its business expansion plans with more vigor. The company is on an upbeat growth trend right from the recession times owing to its flexible, customer-friendly strategies.

South Africa is a mature market for information technology as it is growing at a healthy pace, supported by economic growth and national development projects. Research and advisory firm IDC (International Data Corporation) expects the market to exceed US $4 billion this year. IDC anticipates that the South African IT market will grow at an average annual rate of 11.3% to nearly $5.670 billion by 2011. The Senior Research Analyst IDC of South Africa, Mr. Pieter Kok said in a statement this week: “Economic growth and national development projects are playing into the hands of IT service providers, both in terms of hardware and software implementations as well as custom development, outsourcing, and other services.” A growing marketplace is a significant driving force for any company and Dot Com Infoway is targeting the SA market at the right time.

Dot Com Infoway already has a number of reputed customers in South Africa. Recently, it has widened its SA client base by engaging in new, long term business partnerships with B2B and B2C clients in the country.

It can be noted that the company has anchored itself in Netherlands and United States, with offices in Amsterdam and San Francisco. It has full-fledged sales and marketing operations performed in its overseas branches to enhance the company’s global business opportunities, especially in the U.S., the U.K., European and Eurasian sectors.

Mr. C. R. Venkatesh, the CEO of the company, opines: “DCI’s overseas branches in Amsterdam and SFO have widened our opportunities. The South African market has given a new dimension to our business expansion plans. Now, we’re bent on exploring every other emerging marketplace, as only the emerging markets have often exhibited aggressive growth trends.” Dot Com Infoway’s CTO, Mr. Vijayakumar Radhakrishnan comments this way: “South Africa is a market marked by steady growth. The IT industry in SA is on the upward trend and according to predictions, will grow further in 2011. DCI strengthening its SA client base is an indication that we’re expanding worldwide.”
