Photo Editor+ allows users to perform quick photo touch-ups that can make all the difference in the world. Users will be given a plethora of frames and stickers to choose from, after which they can choose from equally numerous retro special picture effects to add a nostalgic twist. They can also adjust filters, brightness, saturation, contrast, and blur, among others, for a complete photo-editing experience.

Challenges

The bulk of the challenge in making this app hinges on UI/UX and how we were going to incorporate the photo editing features of the app. We had to weigh the stylistic preferences of the audience we were targeting when we came up with Photo Editor+’s concept.

We also needed to stand out from the hundreds of photo editing apps already available in the App Store, so we had to make sure we incorporate a unique feature, too.

Our Solution

Our UI/UX team opted for a minimalistic route to ensure the seamless, seconds-long editing that users expect from the app. Developers optimized everything else like flow and screen to decrease waiting times.
We relied on Photo Editor SDK to deliver the majority of the photo editing features.
Focusing on offering special retro effects gave Photo Editor+ its much-needed identity.

Our Results

We can safely say that our development route for this app was nothing short of successful. This is because we fulfilled our original aim of providing a photo-editing app that can guarantee lightning-quick photo amendments while delivering all the basic, most in-demand tools by users.
