YouTube Gets Makeover for Better Social Media Integration
YouTube has received the biggest facelift in its history to help viewers watch their favorite channels easily.
With a notable emphasis on social features, this new homepage looks a lot like Facebook or Google+. It has been reorganized to display three main vertical columns instead of scattering clips in horizontal rows. The left column can be utilized to feature users’ favorite channels and it helps them monitor the videos being posted by their friends on social networks.
“Our recent Channels expansion, our grants and educational programs, and this new design are all focused on helping you discover a broader range of entertainment on YouTube,” the site said in a blogpost. “We rely on your feedback to figure out when we’ve gotten it right and when it needs further tweaks. So let us know what you think.”
Few weeks back, Google’s other products like Gmail and news section also got updated.
