If you are an all time online freak and majorly into social networking, the Twitter event in Madurai, “twitmdu2010” promises to be your perfect haunt tomorrow (March 21). The event is one-of-its-kind organized for the first time in Madurai, by Galatta Events and hosted by Dot Com Infoway Ltd. This is the second such exclusive event happening after the first one in Chennai last year.

The event will throw light on frequent queries as ‘What Twitter is, it’s purpose, future and how it can be used to connect to the world. Popular playback singer and voice-over artiste Ms. Chinmayi is inaugurating the event, who is also a die-hard tweep, blogger, linguist and the CEO of a Translation services company, Blue Elephant.

The ‘twitmdu’ team has invited speakers from diverse work environs – bloggers, webmasters, C-level executives, IT professionals, students and Internet marketing experts. Apart from creating general awareness about Twitter, the camp will also be an eye-opener to tweeps on how to use Twitter for business, Twitter tools and Twitter Application Programming Interface, covering everything from basics to local trends in Twitter.
