Google Allows Developers to Respond to Play Store Comments
Google has added a new feature to its Play Store that will allow developers to respond to user comments.
In recent times, many Google developers have been requesting for this feature. Released in June, it was made available only for those who were Top Developer Badge holders. Now all Android app developers can respond to user comments or reviews on Google Play. By responding directly to claims and comments on their apps, they can also earn more votes. But there are also chances of people deliberately leaving negative comments to elicit an immediate response from developers.
This new feature has bridged the gap between consumers and developers. Google has added the Android 4.0 Roboto font to the Play Store, to enhance its visual appeal. Google has been continuously making changes to its Play Store to make it better. Google Linked its Play Store to Google+ in November 2012. This allowed users to post reviews of apps and games only by using their Google+ account. This integration by Google also prohibited users from posting anonymous feedback.
