Google Services Temporarily Unavailable

Search giant Google left millions of users stranded as it went down for a few minutes today.
Google has gained its reputation for being a reliable search engine for more than a decade now. It has more than one billion unique visitors worldwide and runs over one million servers in data centers around the world.
Today, Google has suffered a service outage at around 1.00 PM IST and some users received a 502 error page. It also affected Google’s other services like Android Market, Google Apps and Gmail. When these services got back online, most of the users experienced them to be a bit slower than usual. Though this entire mess up lasted only for a few minutes, users found it very un-Google like.
Google is yet to issue an official statement on this fiasco.
